About PT-141
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist. It is closely related in structure to Melanotan 2.
PT-141 acts mainly at the MC3R and MC4R receptors and has been studied in research on central melanocortin signaling.
